Since my suitcase was heavy, I looked for a hotel with an elevator and close to the station. It was within a 5-minute walk from the station. It was about a 5-minute walk to the Duomo in Florence. It was a very good location because the bar district was close and there was everything around. However, there were stairs to the hotel front desk on the second floor. The two people who seemed to be the owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I left my luggage as soon as I arrived. They said I could use the shower if I wanted. When I said I wanted to eat delicious pizza for dinner, they introduced me to a restaurant very close to the hotel. The pizzeria had polite staff that were the same as in Japan, they were very friendly, and the pizza was very delicious! They introduced me to a good restaurant. They also showed me the way to the restaurant outside the hotel. That night, the bed was comfortable, but I couldn't sleep because of the noise of drunk people outside until around 4 a.m. However, the hotel's service and location were very good. I had a good stay. Thank you very much!

I brought a school group of 8 pupils with 2 staff, making use of their triple and quad rooms for the pupils, and we were perfectly placed to enjoy all that Florence had to offer from an art historical perspective. The hotel staff were welcoming, very helpful and spoke English. It was a lovely safe haven to come back to and you could still feel the buzz of the city when in the hotel. It is in a great location only 3 mins walk from the Duomo, round the corner from Santa Maria Novella and San Lorenzo and not far from the Arno to get over to the Carmine and Santo Spirito.

- great location right in the city center; 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from the main train station - very nice host, helpful and personable; All the other employees were also very nice and helpful - room a bit dark but overall comfortable and attractive; well air conditioned - we were able to leave our luggage at the reception upon arrival before the check-in time as well as after the regular check-out time and enjoy our time in Florence - we didn't use breakfast and can therefore say nothing about the quality and selection

The central location was excellent, and made exploring Florence for me and my partner very easy, considering that we only had a few days there. All the staff at the hotel were beyond kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was very generous and fresh. Overall, Hotel Nizza was the perfect place to rest and recharge while experiencing Florence.

The location was very convenient, albeit a bit noisy on a busy corner. However, the noise was not a problem with the windows closed. Nice selection for the breakfast buffet and the coffee machine made great lattes. A nice touch to show the history of the building by having the bricks show through the plaster. We had a very comfortable stay.
